  Before walking into the store, I concluded there would not be representation (books or art) showing wisdom/esteem of the white male. The results...You made me feel like a prophet... But for greater profits.... .......Possibly you can reverse this discrimination by showing reruns of Father Knows Best... I'm not actually asking you to implement this. I am making a point here for a traditional family value counter weight from this counterculture Big Sur corner. Be a truth seeker by moving away from HippiePotcracy.... Show the whole/holistic spectrum... The white male as well as woman of color have a gift to offer. Daniel

As a local, I can tell you with confidence that Local Color , as the name suggests, is the best gallery to find handmade art, crafts, and products made by artists and entrepreneurs living in Big Sur, CA. If that isn't enough reason to shop here, the gifts youll find are always spot on for capturing the feeling of Big Sur travel and the of this small women owned business are super friendly with background in the arts. Highly recommended!
